Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition
Bentley will unveil the Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition tonight at the opening of one of the world’s largest Bentley dealers in Beijing. We already know that China is now the most important market for Bentley, and that Bentley provides the Queen with the Bentley State Limousine – a custom-built Bentley in Claret and Black. Now, with the Queen celebrating her Diamond Jubilee, Bentley has found a way to pull all these threads together with the Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition, a run of 60 Special Edition Mulsannes to celebrate the Queen’s jubilee – one for each year of the reign of Elizabeth II.
Rendered speculation on the Subaru FT-86
Toyota brought the FT-86 – a 2 door coupe concept that may well see the return of the Celica name – to the Tokyo Motor Show this month. Designed to be an affordable coupe – and designed in collaboration with Subaru – it looks a promising new car. Audi has opted for a quick fix in designing an Ingolstadt-sponsored Santa’s sleigh: it’s taken the forthcoming 2010 A1 and prepped it for Christmas duties. Santa looks cheery in this left-hooker, a three-door version of Audi’s new Mini rival.
